We are so proud of Felipe because in January he passed the Federal University Entrance Exam, known here as the Vestibular. This is quite a feat given the fact that he studied in public schools. He basically taught himself English, which is a big part of the exam. I told him that freshmen in the U.S. are called fish, but he said he prefers what they call new students here- bixo, which means an intelligent person.
