Easter Retreat ‘08 Group Worship

Along with lessons and quiet time we also had wonderful times of praise with the church family. We are just now getting the hang of The Greatest Command song which for our church family is a big step forward in learning the ins and outs of music as four part songs are rare here.

Easter Retreat ’08 Recreation

The teens we work with seem to enjoy volleyball even more than soccer, and this in the soccer capital of the world! Ana played lots of volleyball in her teen years, so this presents her a good open door with the teens as well as a teaching moment for me to learn a sport I never did learn to play.

These were the guys in my classes at the retreat. Many times these guys are very “playful” but on this occasion they paid more attention than they ever have! So sometimes we do get to see the fruit of our labor.
