February Celebration
On this Sunday all the house churches came together for a time of worship, food, and fellowship. The lesson was on leadership and that many times we don't think that it is possible for us to be leaders, but that God chooses the most unlikely people to be used as his instruments. The question is not, "What can the church do for me," but rather, "What can I do for the church?"
Ana's 21st.......
Birthday! What a blessing it is from God to be able to celebrate birthdays! For Ana, having family members present and eating cake are musts. So that's exactly what we did. They sing the birthday song to the same tune as in the U.S., but the words are different. It says, "Congratulations to you on this special day. May you have much happiness and many years of life."
A New Family Menber
In February Ana and I had the pleasure of meeting our newest family member- Antonio (in the middle), Elizabeth's new husband. Elizabeth is the oldest of Ana's siblings. She met Antonio while she was living in Canada and was also baptized there. They both recently moved to El Salvador, which is where Antonio is from. However there were difficulties with her entrance there and had to come back to Brazil. She is fervently seeking the Lord's guidance for how they can be together. Please join us as we pray for this!
